Join us in Shawville July 3rd as we share art made by Destiny Cote, Kitigan Zibi Anishinaabeg, in response to the Chalk River nuclear megadump, photography taken during our indigenous-led assessment showcasing the biodiversity of the site, and a series of speakers with local knowledge and experience with the impact the nuclear facility has had on our ecosystem.
Come to our event to learn more about the issues regarding nuclear waste in the Ottawa region, and learn how you can support our campaign to reverse the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission's decision to license the Chalk River nuclear megadump.

Algonquin nations resisting the construction of a nuclear disposal site, just 1 KM from the Kichi Sìbì (Ottawa River). This will not only impact local communities along the river, but citizens living in Ottawa that rely on this river for drinking water.
