Final Licensing Hearing for the Ottawa River Near Surface Nuclear Waste Disposal Facility
Public and Press Conference: August 10, 2023 9 AM
Please join us as we state our opposition to the Ottawa River Near Surface Nuclear Waste Disposal Facility (NSDF) in our unceded territory next to the Kitichi Sibi (Ottawa River). We will present the findings of our Indigenous-led assessment of the proposal to the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission in the final licensing hearing from 9 AM - 12 PM. The hearing gathering will be followed by a press conference at 12:30 PM.
