Indigenous Climate Action Grassroots Grow Deep

In the summer of 2018, Indigenous Climate Action partnered with Indigenous Environmental Network to bring together Indigenous peoples of Alberta to help build our movements to address a legacy of extractivism and compounding impacts of climate change.

We worked with local community members from Łuéchogh Túé First Nation (Cold Lake First Nations), Treaty 6 Alberta to host this gathering of Indigenous leaders, activists, elders and youth.

We know the power of community organizing and together we are capable of breaking the cycles and building pathways to sustainable futures for our communities and the world as a whole.
