Candice Jacko

Development Coordinator

Candice Jacko (she/her) is Odawa/Pottawatomi and Welsh, Bear Clan and a member of Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. Candice was born and raised in Tkaronto, which is the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, and the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Candice has worked in the non profit sector for over a decade serving the Indigenous community in various capacities. Most notably, she was part of two grassroots collectives that were committed to land based learning with Indigenous elders and knowledge keepers for Indigenous youth and families living in Tkaronto’s west end. Candice is passionate and committed to land based learning, seed saving and can be seen beading in her spare time.
